I’m Khaleem Ali, PhD, an ACTP Certified Academic Coach with more than two decades of professional experience in higher education. I began my coach training in 2011, and I have been coaching professionally since 2015.
My coaching practice focuses on five key areas:
1) Academic coaching
2) Executive function and ADHD coaching
3) Lifestyle coaching
4) Leadership coaching
5) Coaching for men
For all clients, I provide a coaching relationship built on empathy, trust, and compassion. I encourage prospective clients of all identities and backgrounds to reach out to me.
I work with college and graduate students and with adults more generally to identify goals and make more intentional choices aligned with their values. My coaching process promotes flourishing at school, work, and in life.
Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, I grew up in Miami, Florida, and I completed undergraduate studies in French and Philosophy at the University of Miami.
I earned AM and PhD degrees in Romance Languages and Literatures as a Presidential Scholar at Harvard University, where I spent 20 years in research, teaching, and administrative roles, including as a full-time academic coach for 6.5 years. At Harvard, I also mentored fellows in the Administrative Fellowship Program, a leadership development initiative for talented administrative professionals.
In 2026, I fulfilled a lifelong dream to build my own coaching practice and share my knowledge more broadly.
Based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, I provide coaching services virtually to clients around the world.
